If I didn't know better I'd think I was looking at a Martin. Very nice job!

Terry,

That looks great! What did you use for the stain?

Looks great Terk! You couldn't have planned a finish better than that one...what a happy accident! All my accidents are for keeps...I never get a good bounce golfing either tho, and so it goes! Sweet job! I agree with Joe...looks like a fine Martin!

Terry,

I like the KTM-9 as well. You really can't beat the ease of use. I may try a nitro finish sometime, but would have to sub it out too.

When you used the colortone stain, did you apply it directly to the wood, or did you mix it into the finish?

Terry,

I can see why most people don't realize there was ever a problem. Great job!

Looks awesome Terry. That KTM finish came out really well... Beautiful figure on that top too... I also enjoyed your KTM vs. Nitro comparison. Very interesting...

Terry,

You mentioned that the finish on the neck was z-poxy. How does the finish feel compared to other finishes? I used the system 3 diluted in half on my first guitar and really liked the way the grain looked. I put KTM-9 on top of it, but did wonder if the expoxy would have been enough.
